Boldness of God's Power

Boldness has a way of drawing attention and leading people to discern the meaning of the action or statement that was produced because of the boldness. Their boldness invovled with being a Christian, and as believers, we need to pay attention to reality that God can either do something bold to us or through us. In order for God to do something through us we need to properly place the target of the benefit. Being a Christian produces a benefit, but there is also a command to B.L.E.S.S. others around us if we are followers of Jesus. This allows God the opportunity to be bold through us, for the benefit of others to receive the salvation that Jesus offers.

Acts 4:32-37

These four verses truly reveal the unity and care that the early church had for one another. But holding onto this standard takes the focus and willingness of every individual.

Acts 5:1-6

Luke leads into the actions of Ananias and Sapphira with the genuine and care-filled actions of Barnabas, which drew attention from the apostles. This attention was positive and thoughtful attention, which Ananias and Sapphira wanted. So they lied about the amount the land was sold for to receive not only the same benefit of the purchase of the land, but also were deceptive and tried to achieve the favorable appearance of being generous.
If we desire to B.L.E.S.S. people, we need to be sacrificial for the benefit of someone else. This is how God blessed the early church and made them representatives of the gospel of Jesus.  Live and sacrifice to represent God so we may draw others to the gospel of Jesus.

Acts 5:12-16
