Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving produces statements about people and elements that
are a part of our lives. Although the people and elements help motivate
us to give thanks, keeping thankfulness alive requires acknowledging
the Power that gave us the people and every element we enjoy in this
life.
In Jewish culture the standard prayer for food began with “Blessed are
you, O Lord, our God, King of the Universe” 1 . Gratitude is fully displayed
when we acknowledge the Power that enabled that experience.
Psalm 116 displays great reasoning of why we honor God and great
statements that praise God.
