Blessing God

As we approach Christmas, acknowledge the blessings you have found in Christ. We are mindful to show the people in our lives the love that we have for them; that shows that we know them. But are we showing God that we know Him and love Him? When we bless the Lord, there never ceases to be words of adoration that come out of us.
Ephesians 1:3-6
The term “Blessed be” is different from the second “blessed” term that follows. The first is eulogētos, which means to be praised through commendation of special praise, which is what Paul does with the use of the second term “bless”. The term eulogeō can mean to speak well of, but in this passage, it means to provide a benefit.
Moses wrote Psalm 90:17, which calls for the favor of the Lord to be upon us, and the outcome of  His favor is that the work of our hands would be established by His power. The rest of this particular Psalm is the verbal evidence of a believer of God praising Him and professing the ability of the Lord to impact our lives as well as His being the dwelling place for our life.
Read Psalm 90, identify the presence of God in your life, and discern that you are allowing Him to establish the work of your hands.
