At His Feet or Under His Feet

The imagery that God uses throughout Scripture is revealing and creative. Pastor Bradley presented the reality of Jesus being seated at the right hand of God because His work is done. The prophecy of the enemies of God being made into a footstool for Jesus is foretold in Psalm 110:1. Because of the work of Jesus, we are either at His feet or under His feet. Which posture are you showing toward Jesus?
Our culture can have a hard time fully understanding the concept of firstborn. In ancient culture, the firstborn came with more than just the title of being born first. It came with power and honor that had to be respected. The preeminence of Jesus draws us to bow at His feet in honor, rather than being defiant or even ignorant and being under His
feet.
Psalm 89:27; Colossians 1:15-20
The birth of Jesus gives us more than just an option of belief in which to live, but it provides us a way to experience “grace upon grace”. Posture your life at His feet and worship Jesus, the firstborn of all creation.
