Delivering Faith

Have you ever wanted to ask an inspiring Christian how they keep chasing after God? God raises up voices in every generation to speak about His goodness, His great power, and perfect judgment by the wisdom that He has and gives. When we hear these individuals speak or act, we often ponder how they became so Spirit-filled and led. At the call of Jeremiah, God instructs him to speak to Israel and national leaders on His behalf. Part of discerning how others are used by God is paying attention to their endurance of the opposition.
 
Jeremiah 1:4-19

As Jeremiah started to resist God’s calling on His life, he was informed to control his perspective of his own weaknesses, almost to the point of not even worrying about them. God’s command for Jeremiah to refrain from considering his youthfulness speaks to the extent that he was supposed to rely on God despite his youthfulness. Jeremiah’s ability to overcome fearing those whom he is supposed to talk to is by realizing that God is always with him. The Hebrew word for “am” has no tense or prerequisite for God to be with Him. Although God is always there, the challenge for our faith is realizing that Jeremiah had to actually get in a position to be delivered. He had to actually go and speak the message that relied on God, not Jeremiah being able to explain how exactly everything would play out.  

God calls all believers of Christ to speak about Jesus. The steps we take need to be motivated by the value we have placed on our own relationship with Jesus, and our pursuit to listen to His word and speak when He calls us to speak. We must be delivered by faith to invite others to faith.
