Have you been with Jesus?

Acts 4:8-13
Our summer series, Point of View, should lead us to a distinct perspective that should be known to us. This perspective is noticed by the religious leaders to be leading the conviction of Peter and John’s statements. The element that could not be denied is the fact that “they had been with Jesus” (Acts 4:13).
That is a sobering question to point towards ourselves. Do our convictions and actions reveal that we have been with Jesus? Peter shared the power of God being displayed through the healing of the crippled man as well as the resurrection of Jesus, whom they were responsible for killing. Peter didn’t shy away from the truth of reality; his boldness was the result of keeping Jesus a part of his reality.
There is no substitute or amount of positive thinking you can do that will replace the knowledge, wisdom, and inspiration that comes from making Jesus a part of your point of view of reality. Jesus is full of grace & truth (John1:17), when you experience that reality every day, your natural response will be to give grace and truth to others around you.
