Finding something new in Jesus

It could be said that humanity craves new things. New things are often discovered by simply trying to solve problems. Whether it’s an inventor trying become rich or some one who just needed to solve a problem which other have as well.

Probably the most unfavorable innovative path is the path of war. Most of the American industrial revolution is credited to the war time of World War II, and along with that many medical advances happened due to the death and carnage that come along with the creative weaponry. Just like in warfare we need to be discerning and aware of truth in this life.

Romans 7:21-25

Paul talks about the war that rages within all of us “the law of God” and “the law of my mind”. The battle between these two laws is the path in which we define sin, but many don’t know their life will be cost of their chosen definition of sin. This battle leads all of us to the same challenge that Paul expresses in this passage “Who will deliver me from this body of death?” or it could be worded ‘Who can make this life right?’

The good news is that innovation is still the answer, In Matthew 9:32-34 the Israelites said ‘Never was anything like this seen in Israel’ when unfamiliar people came to see and know Jesus. The great thing about this is that even if you know Jesus you can still discover new things about Jesus, but only if you’re defining your life by the law of God and helping other people come to see and know Jesus.
