Community With God

All of us need and want community. We were created to interact with others, but many times we the direction of who we interact with is driven off of our own interest and comforts. God gives us direction through His Word how we need to go about building the community around us.

The apostle John wrote in his first letter about the desire of the apostles to proclaim the gospel and invite those who have accepted Jesus into fellowship with them, which he claimed was also “fellowship with the Father” (1 John 1:3).

Our fellowship with the Father does more than help lead our life down a righteous path it will bring community around us, which leads to our joy to being made complete (1 John 1:4). I believe we all want to experience joy so much we’re willing to gamble on the things of this world to satisfy that need. When we do that we over power our mind and therefore lead our life away from Jesus.

Keep your mind set on Christ (Colossians 3:1-3) because by doing that you will have community with God and He will bring you the comfort by placing the right community around you to encourage you stay faithful to HIm.
